AIO® is classified as a community mask. At this point we cannot make any claims regarding the safety of AIO®.

AIO® is made from 2 medically approved and skin-friendly materials (TPE & PC). Both materials can be sterilized and are 100% recyclable.
All materials used for AIO® are medical grade materials that are bio compatible. No health threatening materials are being used. Fumes resulting from exposing your AIO® temperatures above 120 °C however could be harmful.

We offer AIO® with and without exhalation valves. The valve is designed to reduce the exhalation resistance and thus facilitate a better air flow. When you inhale, a membrane in the valve closes, so that no pollutants can enter through the valve. However, masks without an exhalation valves have a higher degree of protection against foreign bodies for the wearer and only allow air flow through the filter making sure to protect those around you.
Just put your AIO® in the dishwasher or wash it by hand using water and soap. Remember to be gentle to your AIO® and avoid any sharp materials for cleaning. After cleaning reapply CLEAR VUE® in order to maintain the anti fog coating.
This is very tricky to answer as it very much depends on the beard styling, hair thickness and length. AIO® is ideally used on a bare face in order to ensure an air tight closure between face and mask. Facial hair reduces the effectiveness of this seal. In order to protect yourself it might make sense to go from viking beard to goatee or mustache.
Depending on the severity of air pollution you are exposing yourself to the filter in your AIO® lasts up to 72 hours of breathing. Assuming you are wearing your mask for 2.5 hours a day we recommend to exchange your filter every 3-4 weeks in order to let it operate at a maximum.
Nothing has changed regarding the mask or filters. However BfArm regulations for PPE products have changed. In order to comply with these changes and not endanger the application process we need to communicate very carefully. Sandler AG supplies the AIO® mask with FFP2 grade filters. However AIO® is not a certified FFP2 mask but a community mask.
We recommend to use our CLEAR VUE® Anti Fog Spray after cleaning your AIO. 2-3 sprays inside and outside is sufficient and will last up to 1 week. Apply CLEAR VUE® with a paper tissue and let it sit before 2 minutes before use.
In the unlikely case your filter cartridge cannot be lifted from the mask, the is an emergency opening that lets you pry it open with a screw driver or similar object.
One of AIO®'s most striking features is its transparent design. In order to maintain it we have coated your AIO® with CLEAR VUE® Anti Fog Spray. In order to maintain the coating we recommend you to reapply it after cleaning your AIO® or once every 7 days by applying 2-3 sprays on the out and inside with a paper tissue and let it sit for 2 minutes before use. Our plastic is a medical grade which has the appropriate biocompatibility certificates. Harmful vapors can only be emitted during processing or at intense heat (over 120 degrees). This is not the case with normal use.
In use, the material will yellow slightly under permanent outdoor UV exposure over a long period of time, otherwise not.
We have produced two different filter pads for our AIO® mask.
The AIO® Pads Regular have an air permeability of 100 l/m²/s.
These AIO® Pads Regular have small "dots" on the surface of the filters, but these are not holes, but places where the different filter layers have been welded together.
The AIO® Pads Flow, on the other hand, are more permeable to air and have an air permeability of 2000 l/m²/s.
The increased air permeability makes it more comfortable for some customers to breathe through the AIO® Pads Flow.
You can recognize the AIO® Pads Flow by their smooth surface and thicker feel.
The air you breathe in is filtered even when the valves are open. An exhalation membrane in the valves is responsible for this. If the air you exhale should also be filtered, then the valves should remain closed. So you can adjust this depending on the situation.
If you have received your AIO® mask, it comes in a cardboard box. This packaging always shows a white AIO® mask, but this does not mean that the mask it contains is also white.
If we have sent you the wrong color by mistake, you are welcome to contact our customer support, your request will be processed as quickly as possible.
If you wish to return your AIO® mask, this is only possible if the black seal on the packaging of the mask has not yet been broken. If you wish to return the mask, please do not open the delivery. Once opened, the item is excluded from exchange, as the AIO® mask is a hygiene product.

If your mask makes a "whistling" or "squeaking" noise when you breathe, your filter pad is most likely not inserted correctly. The noise occurs when some holes in the filter are exposed. Make sure that the filter pad completely covers the holes in the filter cap.

In case you have received a damaged product, please contact our support team directly. Please write an email to firstname.lastname@example.org, include your order number and describe the problem you have with the product. It is also very helpful if you send a photo/video of the damaged goods. We will of course send you a new product as soon as possible. You can then simply remove the damaged goods into the yellow garbage can.
